Amie grew up in a loving military family and lived in Germany, Alaska, Iowa, and Tennessee. Amie called Indian Mound, TN home, as that is where she lived most of her life. Amie obtained her B.S. in wildlife biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and obtained a M.S. from Murray State. She worked as a wildlife biologist at Fort Campbell.

Through the many trials that cancer brings she never once backed down, she never gave up, and she was a rock for her husband, children, family members, and co-workers. She will be deeply missed by all, but the life she lived and the memories she has provided for so many that loved her will live forever.
