Myra Kennon Sylvester age 97 of Nashville, formerly of Rowayton and Wilton CT, passed away holding her daughter's hand on Jan 15,2019. She was born in Burlington, VT November 20,1921 to Blaisdell Caine and Kathleen Pickett Kennon. Upon completion of 2yrs service she then proceeded to follow her passion for Political Science as a grad student at Boston University. It was there she met Major Delmont Joseph Sylvester also a grad student. They married in June of 1950. Stationed in Chaumont, France in the early 60's, they adopted their daughter, Caroline. The little girl was the light of her mother's eye and she decided that being a full time mom was what she desired.
