Allan Josephy

Allan Steven Josephy, 74, of Clarksville, TN passed away on August 12, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1951 in White Plains, NY to Leonard and Irene Josephy.

Allan was a loving papa, husband, and father. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, landscaping, and camping. Allan dedicated over 20 years of his life to the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an administrator, where he was not only respected but also admired for his unwavering kindness and integrity. His gentle disposition ensured he never had a mean bone in his body. He took great joy in doing odd jobs for friends and family, always eager to share his time and talents.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Barbara Jean Riley Josephy. He is survived by his children, Katie (Phillip) Mandrell and David Josephy, wife, Kathy Josephy, sister, Marilyn (Randy Numbers) Picot, step-children: Ronna (Justin) Louise, Chandel Emerson, Sarah (Gerrell) Blackwell, and Samuel Emerson, Sr.; step-grandchildren: Jack, Tom, Adam, and Daniel Louise and Jaelyn, Gabriel, and McKenna Blackwell and Samuel Emerson, Jr.
