Aubrey Earl Rye, 65, Clarksville, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at his residence.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Baggett and Rev. Norman Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. til the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rye was born December 22, 1943 in Clarksville, son of the late John Robert and Mary Beatrice Harris Rye.
Mr. Rye was retired.
Mr. Rye is survived by sons Aubrey Rye, Jr. Detroit, MI, Buddy Rye, Michigan, brothers; Lonnie Dale Rye, Clarksville, sisters; Dorothy Buteau, Lola B. Houston, Audrey J. Wright all of Clarksville and Donna L. Foster of Virginia and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Baggett, Jonathan Rye, Dan Mai, Bobby Mai, Jeffrey Wright and Willie Wright, Jr.
