Bernice "Butch" Perry

A Celebration of Life service for Bernice "Butch" Ray Perry, 84, of Clarksville, TN will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Pastor Gary Herndon will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Butch was born on November 22, 1937 to John and Savannah Hogue Perry.

Butch was the owner of B & B Phillips 66 Service Station from 1958-2019, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching Fox News and NASCAR races, going to the farm, and gathering with his church family each morning at PVBC Life Center. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Butch is preceded in death by his 12 brothers and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Faye Perry; children: Kim (Gary) Herndon, Tony Perry, and Nathan (T.J.) Perry; grandchildren: Keri (Blake) Lehman, Alisha (Will) Simpson, McKinley ( Jackson Lockhart) Perry, Nick Perry, Savannah Perry, and Cady Perry; and great-grandchildren, Braylon and Tucker.

Pallbearers will be: Blake Lehman, Will Simpson, Terry Abbott, Jackson Lockhart, Jason Scott, and Shane Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Braylon and Tucker Lehman and Nick Perry.
