Billy Lovell

A Celebration of Life service for Billy R. Lovell, age 79, of Nashville, TN, will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Jeremy Sisk will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Billy was born on August 8, 1942 in Nashville, TN to Eugene and Frances Burgess Lovell. He passed away on January 17, 2022. Billy was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from the Nashville Fire Department. He cherished his time as a member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, was a member of Al-Menah Shriners, and a 32nd degree Mason with the Jere Baxter-Edgefield Lodge #254.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Nick Stiltner; and brothers, Eugene Lovell, Jr. and Clarence Lovell. He is survived by his children: Misty (Jay) Jennings, Betty (John) Lee, and Cyndi (David) Stiltner; grandchildren: Karoline, Anastasia, John, Jessica, Patrick, Edward, Rachel, Timothy, Alex, and Noah; 11 great-grandchildren; and companion, Linda Mayberry.
