Catherine M. Gallagher, 84, Woodlawn, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. No services are planned. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gallagher was born March 31, 1926 in Brooklyn NY, daughter of the late Daniel and Helen Carney. She was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Carney, and two sisters Helen McCort and Sister Mary Carney Catherine was a homemaker and member of St. Francis Assisi in Woodlawn. She is survived by her husband Joseph P. Gallagher, her son Joseph Gallagher, Jr. of Clarksville, and her daughter Barbara Hatcher of New York. Also survived by her sister Margaret Crotty and three grandchildren.
