Charles Buffington

A graveside service for Charles Eugene Buffington, 84, of Woodlawn, TN will be Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Charles was born on April 26, 1941 to Eugene T. Buffington and Ida L. McKenzie in Jacksonville, FL. He served in United States Navy from 1958- 1962. After the Navy, Charles spent his life doing what he loved playing music. He also enjoyed painting portraits.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by the love of his life, Ingrid Herman and 1 sister. Charles is survived by his children: Kristine Buffington, Laura (John) Olmstead, Dawn (Dean) Thomas, Darling Buffington, and Matthew Dodd, 10 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, and 2 sisters.
