Charles Tanner Wyatt

A Celebration of Life service for Charles "Tanner" Wyatt, age 85, of Clarksville, TN, will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wyatt's Chapel Cemetery in Indian Mound where he will be laid to rest alongside his late wife, Vira Wyatt. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. 

Tanner was born on November 29, 1938 in Stewart County, TN, to Charles Cornelius and Emma Dee Wyatt. He passed away on June 15, 2024. Tanner was retired from Colonial Bread Company and farming. He loved God, family, and his country. Tanner enjoyed watching old television shows, singing, and going to antique car shows.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his children: Chuck (Teresa) Wyatt, Kimberly Clinard, and Sherri (Tommy) Waller; 16 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren. 

The family would like to extend their gratitude to All Ways Caring HomeCare and Tanner's caretaker, Kala Brown.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Wyatt, Sam Wyatt, Caleb Waller, Levi Hood, Aaron Hood, and Chase Clinard. Honorary pallbearers are Elliott Watts and Mickey Atkins.
