Christa Trusty

Christa Annemarie Trusty, 88, of Clarksville, TN passed away on October 28, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1938 in Mittweida, East Germany to Alfred and Marianne Voigtlander.Christa was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading her Bible. She loved traveling, gardening, and tending to her flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat, Sissy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Trusty and brother, Egon Voightlander. She is survived by her children, Geri Smith, Stephen Smith, and Eugene (Tracey) Smith, grandchildren, Kenneth (Stephanie) Meek, Jr., Dustin Meek, Stephanie (Paul) Hogrefe, Shelly (Colton) Aden, Christopher Getchell, and Annemarie Getchell, great- grandchildren, Skylar, Sydney, Korbin, Emory, McKinley, Jakeb, Jakson, Lukas, Brayden, Ansley, and Karsyn, sister, Sonja Heberger, and many other loving family members.

A graveside service at KY Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
