Doris Lucille Richardson

A funeral service for Doris Lucille Richardson, age 94, of Cunningham, TN, will be Monday, March 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Ted Denny will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Harvey Cemetery alongside her husband, L.G. Richardson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Lovingly known as Lucille, she was a long-time member of Sunnyview Baptist Church and attended Bethel Baptist Church. Lucille loved spending time with her family, painting, and growing her rose garden.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Frances Harrison. She is survived by her sons, Scotty (Gayle) Richardson and Bobby (Patsy) Richardson; grandchildren: Bryan (Krista) Richardson, Nikki (Wayne) Potter, Katie (Jason) Barefoot, and Brandy Richardson; 9 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle Richardson, Bryan Richardson, Clay Richardson, Adam Biter, Wayne Potter, and Jason Barefoot.
