Edward Brown

d. February 26, 2022

Edward Bardwell Brown went home to be with the Lord on the morning of February 26, 2022 at his residence.

Edward was born in Camden, Alabama on January 5, 1957 to the late Lavern and Cecile Brown.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Penny, daughter Kayla (Nathan) Eaton, son Robert “Bob” Royster Shelton, sister Elizabeth Brown (Lothar Osterburg), David Brown (Sammy Espino) and many friends and colleagues.

Edward worked for 30 plus years for Odom’s Tennessee Pride / Conagra Foods in Quality Assurance. He poured his heart and soul into his work and all the people he had the pleasure to work with. He made it a point to make everyone he encountered feel important and special. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend and stand up for everyone he cared about.

Edward had a great love for the outdoors. He had a passion for planting, growing and nurturing many varieties of trees. He always took pride in his vegetable garden, and loved to work in his yard. If he wasn’t in the yard he was out on his bicycle or hiking in the woods. He had plans to Travel and farm a beloved piece of property off Hwy 13.

“You never said I’m leaving. You never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. A million times we needed you, A million time we cried. If love could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.”
