With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Erma Jean Garst, who departed this life on October 21, 2026.

Erma Jean was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her life was woven into the lives of many generations, leaving behind a family that will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Garst; her sons, Ricky Garst, Jerry Garst, Stephen Garst, Timothy Garst, and Bobby Garst; and her daughter, Carla Garren.

She is survived by her children, Robin Colletto and David Garst, along with many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Sandy Self.

Though her passing brings sadness, her family takes comfort in the memories shared, the love that remains, and the generations who will continue her legacy.

As we say goodbye to Erma Jean, we remember that a mother’s love never truly leaves us. It lives on in the hearts of her children, the laughter of her grandchildren, and the lives of every generation that follows.
