Funeral service for Ralph "Eugene" Barr, age 58 of Clarksville, will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Eugene passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 02, 1959 in Fairmont, WV to Charles Ralph Barr and Vivian Alice Skaggs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, George Skaggs, and is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Susan Welch Barr, children; Brandon (Hayley) Barr and Wendy (Eddie) Loomis, grandchildren; Allicen, Bentley, and Lucy, brother, Allen (Robin) Barr, and sisters; Deanna (Mark) McAllister and Tina (Mike) Phillips.
Eugene loved Nascar, football, and being outdoors. He was employed by the Trane Company for 38 years.
