Freeman Patrick Suiter, 69, Indian Mound, TN, died Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Manor House of Dover. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Melvin Dunaway officiating. The remains are to be cremated. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Suiter was born on August 10, 1938 in Clarksville, TN, son of the late Walter Freeman Suiter and Nellie Wolard Suiter. Mr. Suiter was a retired Police Officer in Taylor, Michigan, a member of the F.O.P. and the Masonic Lodge in Indian Mound. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Mr. Suiter is survived by his wife, Carol L. Ripley Suiter; son, Shawn P. Suiter of Indian Mound, TN; daughter, Patti Rye of Dover, TN; sister, Virginia Ranney of East Peoria, IL; grandchildren, Steven Suiter, Amanda Rye, Lauren Suiter and Rachel Suiter.
