Glendon Douglas Sinks

A Celebration of Life for Glendon Douglas Sinks, age 59, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, will be Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Pastor Benton Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rye's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until the hour of service.

Glendon was born on July 9, 1966, in Clarksville, TN. He passed away on March 30, 2026. Glendon graduated from the University of Tennessee, where he studied Animal Science and spent time working in lab research. When he was younger, he enjoyed golfing, hiking, and playing volleyball with friends. He was a man of few words, known for his quiet strength.

Glendon is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Christy Sinks. He is survived by his father, Howard Sinks, brother, Michael (Donna) Sinks, nephews, Clay Sinks and Michael (Shaska) Sinks, Jr., niece, Rachel Sinks, great nephew,Colton Harold, and great niece, Kyliegh Sinks.

Pallbearers will be: Royce Town, Michael Sinks, Jr., Clay Sinks, Frankie Story, Charles Davis, and Dave Harlan.
