Jean Akiko Rosalez

A Celebration of Life service for Jean Akiko Rosalez, age 86, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Jean was born on September 2, 1937, in Honolulu, HI, to Satoshi and Mitama Takeuchi. She passed away on September 7, 2023. Jean retired from the federal government after 24 years and then worked for the State of Tennessee from 11 years. She loved spending time with her family, riding motorcycles with her husband, playing BINGO, and bowling. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Jane Isobe and Clarence Takeuchi. Jean is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rosendo Rosalez, Jr.; children: J.R. Rosalez III, Gayle Rosalez, Edward Rosalez, Sean Shamblin, and Michelle Burton; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
