Jimmie Whisenant

 A graveside service for Jimmie Russell Whisenant, age 73, of Hopkinsville, KY, will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Jimmie was born on July 4, 1950, in Oakville, NC, to Carry and Helen Whisenant. He enjoyed fishing and loved his dog, Hope, more than anything.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph, Carry jr., and Virginia. Jimmie is survived by his son, David (Sara) Whisenant; siblings: Jason, Justin, Lily, Jean, and Barbara; and grandchildren, Alexander and Saige.
