A Graveside service for Joanne Marie Cowan, age 75, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
Joanne was born on May 3, 1948, in Ashtabula, OH, to Harvey and Anne Leonard. She was retired from Wal-mart and loved sewing, Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, and cats- especially her cat Cuddles.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Leonard. Joanne is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael Cowan; sons: Gary (Betty) English, Anthony English, and Clifford ( Jenifer) English; grandchildren; Gary Jr., Brittany, Joanna, Bailey, Andrew, Karmen, and Christian; 7 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vickie Leonard-McDuffie and Jean Green.
