Johnnie Mae Brasher

A Celebration of Life service for Johnnie Mae Brasher, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Minister Bridgette Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Johnnie was born on June 26, 1943 in Lexington, TN. She passed away on September 4, 2023. Johnnie loved spending time with her family, bowling, sewing, and quilting.

 Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Tate and Mary Elizabeth Fitcheard; husband, Malcolm Brasher, Sr. and siblings: Evelyn Douglas, Herbert McClearkin, Billy Tate, and Paula Fitcheard. She is survived by her children: Malcolm (Barbara) Brasher, Sabrina Norris, Brian Brasher, and Christopher (Dawn) Brasher; niece, Jill Fitcheard who was like a daughter; grandchildren: Lakisha, Shaina, Rudy, Steven, Bria, Cameron, Alexis, William, and Aaron; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

An inurnment will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
