Julia N. Aguon, 57, Clarksville, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 Friday at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father David Kennedy officiating.Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 11:30 until the time of service Friday at the church. A Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Aguon was born July 12, 1952 in Talofofo, Guam, daughter of the late Billie Newby and Rosa Reyes Newby. She was preceded in death by her brother Rogue Newby and granddaughter Miracle Joylissa Wofford.
Mrs. Aguon was a homemaker and member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She is survived by her mother, husband Raymond V. Aguon and four daughters, Heather (Ralph) Hewgley; Candy Rose (Erick) Ferrer; Melissa (Wilbert) Woffford, and Carol (Derrick) Merriweather all of Clarksville. Other survivors include brothers Joseph (Joyce) Newby, Las Vegas, NV; Eddie Newby, John Newby and Danny Newby; two sisters Rose Camacho and Solame Santos all of Guam. She has twelve grandcildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
