Kanya was born on April 15, 1941 in Thailand. She passed on May 18, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband, SGT Gary Stanley, ARMY (Ret). Kanya is survived by her niece, Patricia Kay Wheeler and brothers-in-law, Ronald Stanley and Phillip Stanley.
