Leslie "Les" Demonbreun

A graveside service for Leslie "Les" Demonbreun, age 72 of Clarksville, will be Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Jarrell Cemetery. Bro. John Richardson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Les passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born on March 9, 1948 in Cheatham County, Tn to Hudson and Dorothy Demonbreun. Les was a veteran of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam in the 16th Infantry and was a Purple Heart recipient. Les was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Union of Operating Engineers and a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Les is preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie and Charles Demonbreun; and sister-in-law, Betty Sue Demonbreun. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty J. Demonbreun; son, Allan (Lisa) Demonbreun; daughter, Amy (Dan) Cunningham; grandchildren: Ali Demonbreun, Emily Demonbreun, Bailey Cunningham, and Danielle Wilkes; great-grandchildren, Landon and Addie; brothers: Mike (Brenda) Demonbreun, Roger (Kathleen) Demonbreun, and Douglas (Christine) Demonbreun;  and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
