The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home . Maria passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. She was born on May 09, 1933 in Oppau, Germany, to Heinrich Keiz and Christine (Gebhard) Keiz. She was a member of the Golden Girls Club and enjoyed shopping and dancing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Butler and one brother. She is survived by her daughters; Maria-Louise, Lenora, and Christine Butler, two brothers, one sister, and three granddaughters; Amber (Brian) Thompson, Nicole Cheatham, and Kayla Cribbs.
