Marian Florence Pratt

Marian Florence Woodruff Pratt, age 91, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Clarksville, TN, entered her eternal rest with Jesus her Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The family is hosting a Celebration of Life that will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, 5 th Street entrance, in the parlor with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Marian will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with her husband, Ray Leland Pratt.

She entered this life on May 22, 1933 in Junction City, KS to the late Robert D. Woodruff Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Bennett. Marian trusted in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, as her Savior from sin at the age of 13 at a church service and was baptized. She met her husband, Ray, in Long Run, WV, and they were married on April 5, 1953. God gave them three daughters, whom they raised to come to know Jesus. Marian was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville, TN. She prayed diligently for many unsaved relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and her siblings, Barbara Murphy, Robert D. Woodruff Jr, Suzanna (Susie) Pratt, Jeanette Persky, Roberta Woodruff, and John Woodruff Sr.

Survivors include her children, Denise (David) Harrier, Jeanette (Peter) Dulley, and Shelly (James) Roberts; grandchildren, Ian (Kaitlyn) Harrier, Stuart (Vesta) Harrier, Trey (Nielah Burnett) Roberts, Eric Roberts, Rachel (Quin) Elliott, and Beth (LeVar) Livingston; great-grandchildren Isaiah Shiloah Harrier, Vesta Grace Harrier, Jada Jones, and Jordan Jones; great-great-grandchild DJ Jones; as well as nieces and nephews.
