Marie Albright

A graveside service for Marie Albright, 100, will be Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mallory’s Cemetery, with Bro. Jon Justice officiating.

Marie was born on October 26, 1925 in Chapmansboro, TN to Isaac and Minnie Evans. Marie enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, reading mystery novels, and tending to her flower gardens. She attended Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Winford Albright; siblings, William Turner "Pete" Evans, Frank Evans, and Frances Albright; nephews, Scott Albright, Gregory Evans and Baby Boy Evans; and her beloved parakeet Joey.

She is survived by her sister, Lorene Sprague; nieces: Vicki Heggie, Rosemary Austin, Pamela Hollis, Dana Salyer, Debbie Parker, Lisa Capri, Judy Albright, Susan Belau, and Angela Evans; nephews: Van Albright, Richard Albright, Steve Sprague, and Jeff Evans; many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend gratitude to her caregivers, Madison, Cynthia, Kristie, and Lilly and her neighbor Mike for tending to her yard for many years.

Pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers will be: Walt Heggie, Kevin Austin, Mason Heggie, Bryan Austin, Cameron Heggie, Casey McCullough, Lane Barger, Cooper Jennette, and Tanner Heggie.
