Marilyn Lopez

A Celebration of Life service for Marilyn Elisa Lopez, 73, of Clarksville, TN will be Monday, September 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.

Marilyn was born on August 23, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to John and Marilyn Sanchez. Marilyn was a member of the Brown Berets organization. Her family describes her as a humanitarian and was always eager to help in any way she could. Above all she was enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her niece whom she cared for, Candace Castenda, brother and John Sanchez. Marilyn is survived by her husband Ascencion Lopez, Jr., children, Frances Munoz, Manuel Munoz, and Gabriel Munoz, grandchildren: Brittany, Katelyn, Matthew, Joseph, Jaysper, Josué, Joaquin, Marisela, Marco, Candelaria, Rafael, Ignacio, Francisco, Graciela, Ricardo, Krisciela, and Valiza; 12 great- grandchildren, and siblings, Diane, Catherine, William, and Randolph.
