Marilynn Christoffer

Marilynn Ruth Korn Christoffer, 75, Clarksville, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald Baptiste officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Christoffer was born February 28, 1934 in West Sunberry, PA, daughter of the late Ernest and Agnes Charissa Buzzard Korn. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Herman Christoffer, a son Rodney Scott Christoffer, and a grandson David Christoffer Green. She was a RN retired from Ft. Campbell Army Hospital and Clarksville Memorial. She was a member of the American Legion Post #233. She is survived by her sons Robert (Sandra) Christoffers, Clarksville; and Ronald (Sandra) Christoffers, Dayton, OH. Her daughters are Barbara Azzolini, Pittsburgh, PA, and Crissa (Dennis) Christoffer of Clarksville. Other survivors include a sister Chloe "Tootie" Fowlow, Bothell, WA; grandchildren Joshua, Robert, Lee, Phillip, Matthew and Anthony, one great grandchild Marcus. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
