Martin "Marty" Logsdon

A Celebration of Martin "Marty" Senior Logsdon, 38, of Dover, TN will be Monday, January 6, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Scott officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. 

Marty was born on April 2, 1986 to Marty Logsdon and Patricia Gilder Logsdon in Savannah, Georgia. Marty grew up in a military family and has traveled extensively. His family settled in Clarksville, Tennessee where Marty graduated from Clarksville High School. Marty was a player on the roller hockey travel team and loved ice hockey, especially the St. Louis Blues. Marty was most proud of his son Izaya and loved him with all of his heart. He loved scary movies, as well as the Ninja Turtles, and enjoyed a variety of music including Eddie and the Cruisers and 2PAC. Marty was loving and kind, willing to lend a hand to anyone he could and will be greatly missed by many, family and friends alike.

He is preceded in death by his step mother, Tandy Logsdon. In addition to his father, Marty Logsdon and mother, Patricia (Jim Rahn) Logsdon, Marty is survived by his son, Izaya Logsdon; siblings: Crystal (John) Muriel, Timothy Canipe, and Scott Gilder; mother of his son, Ashley Hoffmann; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
