Mary Delores Rivers Frey

A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Delores Rivers Frey, 94, of Clarksville, TN will be Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Artie Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.

Mary was born on August 4, 1931 to James and Mary Brown. She passed away on September 12, 2025 at Riverwick Assisted Living in Savannah, TN, where she was a resident for 6 months. Mary was a member at First Baptist Church Clarksville and enjoyed going to the AJAX Turner Senior Citizens Center events, especially the dances. She loved traveling and seeing new things. Mary loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harold Rivers, 2nd husband, Joe Frey, brothers, JT Brown, Bo Brown, Charlie Brown, Harry Lee Brown, and sister- in-laws, Bea Brown, Ida Belle Brown, Sue Brown, Delaine Brown, and Gloria Brown. Mary is survived by her children, Artie Rivers and his wife, Barbara, Helen Rivers McCadden and her husband Dr. Michael McCadden, M.D., and Bobby Rivers; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Baird, Christie (Clay) Elliott, Ben (Magan) Rivers, Michael McCadden, Jr., Kathy (Blake Simeone) McCadden, and Will (Teresa) McCadden, great- grandchildren, Lauren and Logan Baird, Molly, Nora, Annie, and Jack Rivers, and Henry and Peter McCadden; brother, Irving (Kate) Brown, and her best friend of 18 years, Heather Heggie.
