Mell Kermit James

A Celebration of Life service for Mell Kermit James, age 71, of Clarksville, TN, will be November 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service.

Mell was born in Clarksville, TN, on December 9, 1954, to Melvin and Elizabeth James who preceded him in death. He passed away on October 25, 2026.

Mell had a rewarding career as a paramedic. He spent the last 10 years with Houston County EMS and was with Montgomery County EMS for 20 years prior. He was a talented musician and true outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.

Mell is survived by his sons, Patrick James and his husband Nikko and Kyle James.
