Msg Jerry Perkins, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for MSG Jerry Wayne Perkins, ARMY (Ret), age 78, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, March 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Jerry passed away on March 7, 2022. He was born on April 7, 1943 in Memphis, TN, to L.D. and Marjorie Perkins who precede him in death.

Jerry retired from the United States Army after over 22 years of service and tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed tinkering with motors, fishing, and drinking a good cup of coffee. Jerry was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Ginerva Perkins; children: Michael Perkins, Tammy Gregory, Susan Wilson, David Hughes, Paul Hughes, Bruce Harris, and Amanda Thomas; sisters: Mary Fullerton, Dorothy Wiginton, Faye Newsome, and Ann Barzizza; and many loving grandchildren, family members, and friends.
