March 25, 1916 — April 5, 2015
Othel “Prudie” Rye Stines, age 99 of Erin, TN passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Rye Cemetery on Grice’s Creek Road. Burial will follow there in the Rye Cemetery.
She was retired from General Motors with 28 years service and a member of Gilead Baptist Church of Taylor, MI.
She was born March 25, 1916 in Houston County, TN to the late Irving and Mary Margaret Hudson Rye. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stine; sisters, Edith Abramson, Verlie Merritt, Madge Nash, Edrie Solomon; brothers, D.J. Rye, Ray Rye, V.R. Rye.
She is survived by one brother, George (Carolyn) Rye and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
