August 2, 1925 — February 19, 2019
A Funeral Service for SSG Petru Diaconescu (Ret) will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Friends will gather from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens where full military honors will be presented.
Petru retired from the United States Army and was a Bronze Star recipient.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline. He is survived by his nephew, Jerry Fisher and many friends.
