Philip Lloyd Peters

Philip Lloyd Peters, 61, passed away on June 15, 2024. He was born on January 21, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA to Gerhart and Iva Peters, Sr. Philip was an 11 year Navy Veteran. He was also the store manager of Walmart for many years. Philip enjoyed golfing, fishing, yard work, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Rex Baker. He is survived by his loving wife, of 39 years, Susan, children, Christopher (Erin) Peters, Jonathon (Kayla) Peters, Matthew (Morgan) Peters, father, Gerhart Peters, Sr., grandchildren, Allena, Marriann, Ella, Sawyer, Sullivan, Samuel, Tenley, Remington, Roman, Destiny, Skye, and Arie, siblings, Gerhart Peters, Jr. and Terri Peters, brothers-in-law Jay and Dodie Smith, and sister-in-law, Robin Banks.
