(Ret.) US Army SFC Dennis Denney, age 52, of Clarksville passed away on Saturday, Jan 23, 2016 in Heartford Hospital in Connecticut . He was born on Mar 27, 1963 in Blue Springs, Missouri to Roy and Genevieve Denney. He was a member of the American Legion, OOIDA and was very active in Truckers Against Human Trafficking. Dennis was a veteran of the U.S Army and has been employed with Amistad Freight Lines for the past four years.
Funeral Services for Dennis will be at 2:00 pm Saturday Jan 30, 2016 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors, the family will recieve friends from 11:00 am saturday until the time of service.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Karen Holliman Denney; daughters, Stacy (Michael Evans) Denney and Crystal Rutherford (Anthony); son, Darrell (Mindy) Denney ; brothers, Danny Dugger, Grant Dugger and Gary Dugger ; sister, Connie Dugger ; sister in laws; Eva and Cathy Holliman ; 5 grandsons, Jordan, Dustin, Nathaniel, Jordan Rey, and Michael Lane.
