Funeral services for Richard Lee Ramsey, age 84 of Clarksville, will be Friday, Sept 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Louie Montoya will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept 21, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Friday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Richard passed away on Monday, Sept 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Oct 01, 1932 in Pikeville, KY to Rosevelt and Ellen Ramsey. He was a member of 1st Assembly of God and is a retired Veteran of the United States Army with 27years 9 months of service. He is survived by his wife of 48 years , Mildred Ramsey; sons, Gerald, Keith (Birgit), Lee (Tinia), and Patrick (Catrina) Ramsey; daughters, Teresa Williams, Cecelia Thomley, Juanita Graham, and Christie Higgins; grandchildren, Charity Messer, Candice Hausman, Melody Ramsey, Harmony Ramsey, Caroline Ramsey, Christy Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Kevin Ramsey, Christopher Bowe, Brittany Graham, and Cody Graham; great-grandchildren, Mandalin Graham, Landon Bowe, Kara Ramsey, Lily Ramsey, Ryder Hausman, Lola Hausman, Charles Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey, and Hayden Ramsey.
