Rory Krafft

Rory Michael Krafft, 71, St. Augustine, died July 15, 2022. Rory (or Mike as he preferred) was born in St. Louis, MO and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 7 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served two tours in Vietnam. Rory started his work career as an engineer. He later retired from that and began the second career he truly loved and enjoyed in retail with Lowe’s and as a Harbor Freight store manager. He retired again due to the growing effects of agent orange exposure during his time in the military. Rory loved spending time and being with his family and will be greatly missed by them and his friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sykes Funeral Home in Clarksville, TN on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Krafft, St. Augustine; two children, Stephanie Kesner (Bobby), Michael Cotter (Katie); sister, Melody Krafft; grandchildren, Hannah Deickhaus (Josh), Nick Kesner, Rachel Kesner, Lexie Cotter, Ashley Menard (Selika Frasier), Josephine Cotter, Rory Cotter; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Lucille Krafft, brother, James Michael Krafft; many extended family and his veteran brothers and sisters. WELCOME HOME!
