Roseanna "Sue" Davis

A Celebration of Life service for Roseanna Sue Davis, age 74, of Clarksville, TN, will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm, at Sykes Funeral Home. Her children, Jamie Davis Luter and Michael Davis, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Sue passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 17, 1950, in Washington State to Lottye and Harold Lindstrom, Roseanna was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. She dedicated her life to others with warmth, strength, and an unmatched generosity of spirit.

For 35 years, Sue was a passionate and dedicated educator. Her legacy continues to live on in the many lives she influenced, and former students often speak fondly of the impact she made. Together with James Davis, her husband of 50 years, Sue was blessed with a family she loved and cherished. Beyond the classroom and family, Sue found great joy in sewing—a craft at which she was exceptionally talented. What began as a personal passion blossomed into a successful apron business, beloved by many for its craftsmanship and heart.

Sue was known for her loving and gentle nature. She was a pillar of strength for her family and a light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lottye and Harold Lindstrom; her grandmother, Betty Ruth Sanders; her son, Little Jimmy Davis; her siblings Shane Lindstrom, Shawn Lindstrom and Janelle Foley Gregory.

She is survived by her husband, James Davis; her children, Jamie Davis Luter and Michael Davis; her grandchildren, Joeley Luter and Reagan Anna Davis; her siblings, Pamela Lindstrom Adamson and Zane Lindstrom; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will continue to honor her memory.

Sue’s life was one of deep love, quiet strength, and selfless giving. Her memory will remain a guiding light to those who knew and loved her.
