Sarah Tate

Sarah Menees Tate, age 38, went home to Jesus on August 14, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends prior to the service starting at 11:00 AM.

Sarah was born to Dr. Keith and Lori Menees on December 20, 1982 in Memphis, Tennessee.

As a child Sarah excelled in school and was loved by her peers. Her passion was working with organizations to better the lives of others. In the last moments of her life she continued her work with the gift of multiple organ donation. Sarah was the life of every party and her smile could brighten anyone's day. Throughout her life she held an unwavering faith in God, which she always shared with those around her.

Sarah joins her mother Lori Menees and grandfather Buck Menees in Heaven. She is survived by the love of her life, husband Craig Tate, children by marriage Aiden and Cooper, father Dr. Keith Menees, sisters Lauren (Ryan) Boyens, Julianne (Loren) Shelly, and Jennifer Tyndell, brother Jay (Kelly) Menees, nephews; Dante, Kaden, Rylan, Charlie, and Bennett, nieces; Layla, Peyton, and Sloan, and paternal grandmother Marie Menees.
