SFC Donald David Peavey, ARMY, (Ret)

A graveside service for SFC Donald David Peavey, ARMY, (Ret), 74, of Clarksville, TN will be Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.

Don was born on February 11, 1952 in Avon Park, FL to Carlton and Willie Mae Peavey. He passed away on September 2, 2026. Don enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his free time fishing, golfing. He was also an avid gun enthusiast and never turned down the chance to tell a good fish story. He was a skilled gardener and took pride in his work. But above all, Don was a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Corinna, Ermanell, and Edward. Don is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Chris Peavey, daughters, Paula Sharpe and Corena Heatherly, grandchildren, Sofia, Cierra, and Gavin, great-granddaughter, Amelia, siblings: Dorothy, Helen, Lucille, Maydine, Terry, and Nancy, and son-in-law, Tim Heatherly.
