SFC Larry Eugene Shaffer, (Ret) Army

 A Celebration of Life service and full military honors for SFC Larry Eugene Shaffer, (Ret) ARMY, age 73, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, July 8, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. David Mackens will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service. 

Larry was born on April 21, 1951, in Bellefontaine, OH, to Marvin and Goldie Shaffer. He retired from the United States Army after 20 years and served in Desert Storm. Larry was also a member of the Queen City Lodge No. 761.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Timothy and Marvin Shaffer, and brother, Billy Shaffer. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Judy Shaffer; children: Diane (Blake) Rogers, Melissa Shaffer, and Megan Shaffer; step-children, Discie (Juan) Rodriguez and Dixie Evans; grandchildren: Brennan, Ava, Reed, Tyler, Christian, and Brady; and siblings: Johnny Shaffer, Geraldine Shaffer, and Janie Shaffer.
