Sfc Claude Dees, Army (Ret)

September 23, 1943 — August 20, 2021

A Celebration of Life service for SFC Claude Elton Dees, ARMY (Ret), 77, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

Claude was born on September 23, 1943 in Ethel, MS to Johnny and Alice Clark Dees. He passed on August 20, 2021.

Claude was retired from the United States Army and retired again from A.O Smith. He was a loving husband, father, and Pop to his family. Claude enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, and helping others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Jim, Billy Ray, and James Earl Dees. He is survived by  his wife of 57 years, Ima Lindsey Dees; children: Melinda (Chris) Quigtar, Ricky (Vickie) Dees, and Michael (Crystal) Dees; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Rita, Sam, Earnest, Johnnie, Ruthie, and Wilburn.
