Sfc Oliver Goodall, Army (Ret)

SFC Oliver Newell Goodall, ARMY (Ret), age 85 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at home surrounded by family.  He was born on March 31, 1935 in Dolores, CO to William and Edna Adams Goodall. Oliver retired from the United States Army after 20 years including service in Vietnam. He enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and farming.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Joan Knowles and Jeanie Counihan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Goodall; children: Tammy (Calvin) Wiese, Al (Francine) Goodall, Tina (Troy) Gorney, and Tracy Goodall; grandchildren: Cecil Wiese, Caleb Wiese, Corbin Wiese, and Aaron Evans; great-grandchild, Solomon Wiese; and siblings, Judy Baros and Richard Goodall.

A graveside service will be held at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
