Shannon and Joshua Craig

A Celebration of Life for mother and son, Shannon Craig, 56, of Oak Grove, KY and Joshua Craig, 38, of Hopkinsville, KY will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Shannon and Joshua tragically lost their lives doing what they loved on May 11, 2025.

Shannon Lesley Craig was born on December 26, 1968 in Laconia, New Hampshire to Wendell and Patricia Cray. She was an animal rescuer and antique collector. She enjoyed sewing, being outdoors, and working on cars.

Joshua Patrick Craig was born on March 13, 1987 in Laconia, New Hampshire to Patrick Craig and Shannon Craig. He also enjoyed antique collecting and working on cars. In his free time Joshua enjoyed canoeing.

In addition to Shannon's parents, Shannon is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Craig. She is survived by her daughter, Miriah (Alec) Acuff, grandchildren: Damien, Isabelle, Michael, and Elias; and brothers, Scott (Donna Chase) and Steve (Pattie) Cray.

Joshua is preceded in death by his mother, Shannon. Joshua is survived by his children, Damien, Isabelle, and Michael, father, Patrick Craig, and sister, Miriah (Alec) Acuff.
