Services to be announced by Sykes Funeral Home & CrematoryShe was born on March 26, 1923 in Roseland, Nelson County, VA to the late Samuel Albert and Mary Catherine Harvey Bryant. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church in Roseland, VA. She worked as a Medical Secretary. She is survived by husband, John Douglas Stephen of Clarksville; daughter, Susan Stephen (Gil) Pender of Clarksville; grandson, Stephen Ogilvie Pender; granddaughter, Kristen Anne Pender; sister Norma Lee Bryant Holland of Charlottesville, VA; sisters-in-law, Virginia Miller Bryant of Piney River, VA, Alma Cook Bryant of Charleston, SC; 3 nephews, 5 nieces and nineteen great nieces and nephews.
