Barbara Morrison

A Celebration of Life service for Barbara Ann Morrison, age 81, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church in the Family Life Center. Pastor Jerry Jeter and Bro. Jim Graves will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Friday at the church from 3:00 PM until the time of service.

Barbara was born in Clarksville on January 2, 1941 to Coy and Bertha Rye Hogue. She passed away on June 29, 2022. Barbara was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, organized many outings for the seniors group at the church, and worked many years as a sales associate at Belk. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and nana who enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Edna Ott, Doris Walker, and Lois Williams. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bobby Morrison, Sr.; children: Bobby (Lori) Morrison and Beth (Chuck) Collins; grandchildren: Kayla (Lance) Sleigh-Morgan, Katie (Kyle) Coode-Harris, Rett (Allie) Coode, Elizabeth (Bryan) Morrison-Bateman, Nick (Kendahl) Coode, and Jonathan (Miranda) Morrison; and great grandchildren: Owen, Parker, Norah, Hank, Sawyer, and Elle. The family would like to extend their gratitude and love for Barbara's caregivers, Jessica and Charlie Claggett.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Woodall, Rex Williams, Tommy Williams, Bryan Bateman, Lance Morgan, and Kyle Harris. Don Wolard will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
