Bernard Maguire

November 16, 1963 — February 22, 2021

Bernard Michael Maguire went home to be with his late parents and his loving wife on Monday, February 22, 2021. He was a caring and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Bernie was born on November 16, 1963 in New York City, NY. He was married to Jacqueline Marie Maguire for 25 years. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 10 years as an Aviation Storekeeper. Bernie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching his favorite sports team and having family fun nights. Bernie is survived by his three children: Nicholas Maguire and his wife Kelly Maguire of Virginia Beach, VA; Sean Maguire of Jacksonville, FL; and Alisen Brooks and her husband Jordan Brooks of Havelock, NC.

Bernie was blessed with a granddaughter, Abbylyn Maguire, who brought a smile to his face every time he saw her.Other survivors include brother Michael Maguire and sister-in-law Heather Maguire, as well as his nieces Mercedes Maguire and Meara Maguire and nephew Matthias Maguire.

Special thanks to his friend and caretaker Jason Pangelinan who was by his side during his most challenging years and always made sure he was happy. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Bernie will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL beside his soulmate and best friend Jackie.
