Obituary

 A Graveside service for Bobby Doyle Bedwell, age 84, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside his late wife, Patricia Bedwell. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service at Sykes Funeral Home from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM.

Bobby was born on October 11, 1937 in Clarksville, TN to Doyle and Ruby Hogan Bedwell. He passed away on June 20, 2022. Bobby retired after 25 years of service from the Clarksville Police Department and was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, dog-Booger, and cat- Honey. In his earlier years, he enjoyed camping and fishing. 

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Mark Bedwell. Bobby is survived by his children, Barry Bedwell and Beth (Troy) Jackson; sister, Kimberly (Tom) Sawyers; grandchildren: Trevor (Bethany) Jackson, Tiffany Jackson, Bobby Doyle Bedwell, Benjamin Bedwell, and Joanna Bedwell. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Montgomery County Humane Society.
