Bobby Wall

A Celebration of Life service for Bobby Dean Wall, 85, of Clarksville will be Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Sauls will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Bobby's nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 11:30 AM until the time of service.

Bobby was born on June 18, 1935 in Clarksville, TN to Willie and Edna Painter Wall. He passed away on May 24, 2021. Bobby was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church. He was a math teacher at Clarksville High School, Montgomery Central High School, and was the Director of Housing Security at Austin Peay State University. For the past 50 years he owned his own business, Bobby D. Wall Construction. He specialized in home building and built or remodeled over 120 churches. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family, working, traveling, reading, and visiting with friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Wall; siblings: Juanita Bearden, Laverne Bailey, Joe Wall, and Allen Wall. He is survived by his children: Todd (Norma) Wall, Jo Dee (Nathan) Wright, and Debbie (David) Posey; grandchildren: Bridgette, Brittany, Bobbi, Jennifer, Derrick, Justin, and Bethany; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Billy Wall.

The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers: Sandra Wallace, Ruby Cross, Stephanie Sayer, First Light Homecare, and Tennessee Quality Care Hospice.
